Description:

The Victron BMV 702 battery monitor,  & SmartShunt temperature sensor connects directly to the positive pole of the battery and monitors the temperature of the battery bank. The temperature measurement can be used to adjust battery capacity to temperature. The available battery capacity decreases with temperature. Typically, the reduction compared to the capacity at 20oC is 18% at 0oC and 40% at -20oC.
